Jessie Mundell is a personal trainer, author, and mother, as well as a coach with Strongest You Coaching through which she helps women heal their relationship with food and their body, and eat and exercise in a way that they enjoy so they can sustain it forever.

Jessie earned a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education from Queens University and a Master of Human Kinetics with a specialization in pre and postnatal exercise from the University of British Columbia. She is also a certified kinesiologist and Precision Nutrition Level 1 certified nutrition coach.
Jessie is most passionate about helping women elevate and transform their lives, and fall in love with and own their bodies, by educating them about the benefits of strength training and helping them have a healthier and more relaxed relationship with food.
She is also passionate about educating pre and postnatal mamas about staying strong and safe in pregnancy, and recovering post-pregnancy. Her article, “Returning to Exercise After C-Section,” has helped educate hundreds of thousands of women all over the world on returning to exercise safely and healthfully after their c-section.
In addition, she helps women feel more comfortable in their new bodies with articles like, “Embracing Our Post-Baby Bodies,” in which almost a dozen women share picture and stories of their post-baby experience.
Jessie is also a coach with our Strongest You Coaching program, a 9-month program that uses habit-based nutrition changes and the Minimum Effective Dose method to guide women to their goals without feeling like fitness is taking over their life. Jessie also works with SYC participants on improving their mindset and perspective, and focus on happiness, balance, sustainability, and body embracement.
A Kingston, ON native, she now spends her time in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Some of her favorite things include lifting weights, drinking red wine, eating delicious food, practicing handstands, and spending time with her husband and daughter, Steele.
