When Caitlin joined Girls Gone Strong Coaching, she wasn’t just looking for a new workout routine. She was searching for strength, self-trust, and a way to reconnect with herself.

Before joining Girls Gone Strong Coaching, Caitlin didn’t realize there could be a healthy balance between nutrition and exercise. “I thought you were either thin and athletic and just born that way, or you were dieting all the time,” she says. “I didn’t realize there was a healthy balance.”
That belief began to shift after a routine appointment with her doctor. “My doctor suggested medical interventions to help with my weight and improve my health status, which was really scary,” she recalls. “I didn’t know I needed those interventions.”
In her late 30s, while navigating a career change, Caitlin wanted to feel strong, capable, and at peace in her body. That moment became a turning point. She left the appointment and signed up for GGS Coaching, ready to take ownership of her health in a way that finally felt sustainable.
Still, she had doubts. “I worried it would feel like another diet,” Caitlin says. “I didn’t know if the program would work for me. I wasn’t sure if I’d connect with my coach, and I wasn’t sure if I could stay consistent.”
Those doubts didn’t last long. Once Caitlin began working with her coach, Jen, she realized she had found something entirely different: a supportive, inclusive, and compassionate program that met her where she was and helped her grow at her own pace.

What Caitlin found inside GGS Coaching felt refreshingly different from anything she’d tried before. The program focused on habits, not quick fixes, helping her build consistency and confidence through small, sustainable actions. With its strong emphasis on mindset coaching, accountability, and consistent communication and feedback, Caitlin always knew she had the support she needed.
The coaching relationship was also deeply inclusive and body-positive. There were no restrictive meal plans or rigid rules, only compassionate guidance from supportive, non-judgmental coaches who understood that real progress comes from self-trust and flexibility, not perfection.
At the center of that experience was her coach, Jen, who embodied the GGS philosophy of meeting every woman where she is. Together, they focused on progress over perfection, building habits that would last far beyond the program itself.
“Jen is wonderful,” Caitlin says. “There were formal weekly check-ins, but she also provided feedback on my workouts throughout the week. Working with someone for a year, you really get to lean on them for support. I could go to Jen with any questions or concerns, and she responded with kindness, understanding, and knowledge.”
Jen’s support was also deeply personal. When Caitlin started taking a gymnastics class and began experiencing hip pain, Jen adjusted her programming to include warm-ups and strength exercises that helped her build mobility and confidence.
“She really met me where I was,” Caitlin says. “Her support changed everything about how I approach movement.”
With Jen’s steady encouragement, Caitlin began to see herself differently. She no longer measured progress by the scale or by how perfectly she followed a plan, but by the confidence she was building day by day. Each workout became an opportunity to prove to herself what she was capable of, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
That growing strength came into sharp focus during a trip that would become one of the most meaningful moments of her coaching journey.
Earlier this year, Caitlin traveled through Europe while still participating in GGS Coaching, a trip that would shift her perspective on everything she’d been working toward.
“I spent time traveling around Europe while participating in the coaching program,” she says. “Europe is very different from my home in Los Angeles. I walked everywhere. I climbed an endless amount of stairs and chased trains with my luggage.
That’s when I realized I can literally move through life with strength, and it provided such a sense of freedom. I could physically do anything I wanted.”
That realization was more than a fitness milestone; it was a reflection of how far she’d come. The confidence she built in her workouts translated into the way she moved through the world. Each step, each climb, each suitcase lugged up a flight of stairs was a reminder that she wasn’t just strong in the gym: she was strong in life.
That trip became a turning point. For Caitlin, strength was no longer just about what she could lift or how long she could train. It was about the freedom that came from trusting her body and her resilience. She learned that success doesn’t come from doing everything perfectly, but from showing up with compassion and consistency, even when life gets messy.
And when life did get difficult, her coach was right there, ready to meet her with empathy and understanding.
Like any meaningful journey, Caitlin’s transformation wasn’t perfectly linear.
“I had a few personal challenges this year and ghosted my coach at one point,” she admits. “When I was ready to return to the gym, I sent Jen a video explaining what was going on. She responded wanting to make sure I was okay and held space for me in this difficult moment."
"She was there for me when I was ready, and it meant the world to me.”
That moment stayed with Caitlin. It reminded her that growth doesn’t depend on flawless consistency; it depends on compassion, both from others and from yourself.
Looking back, Caitlin says the changes she experienced through GGS Coaching went far beyond the physical.
“Of course I’m stronger and healthier,” she says, “but I’m also mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually different. GGS taught me how to ask myself what I want, break my goals into small achievable steps, and trust that I can make it happen.”
Instead of judgment, she found understanding. Instead of pressure, she found support. It’s what makes Girls Gone Strong’s coaching program so different: progress is personal, and every woman’s path unfolds at her own pace.
Through that experience, Caitlin discovered that strength isn’t just about what your body can do, it’s about how you care for yourself when things get hard.
“I am a different woman,” she says. “I am physically and emotionally strong. I’m not concerned with being smaller, I just want to keep getting stronger. You can do so much with a strong body.”
Perhaps the most meaningful part of Caitlin’s journey came when she realized just how much her transformation had changed not only her body, but her sense of purpose.
“I finally felt seen and empowered,” she says. “Jen was so incredible, and the GGS program was so moving that I decided to become a personal trainer so I can provide the same empowerment to other women.”
That decision marked a full-circle moment. What started as a step toward reclaiming her own health became a calling to help others do the same. Caitlin now channels everything she learned through GGS Coaching—the focus on habits, mindset, and compassion—into supporting women on their own paths to strength and confidence.
When asked what she would say to another woman thinking about joining, her advice is simple and heartfelt: “Take that leap and invest in yourself. GGS Coaching gives you so much more than physical change; it teaches you how to find real balance between nutrition, exercise, and life.”
Her story is a powerful example of what happens when women are supported, seen, and believed in.
