    The Women’s Strength and Empowerment Weekend includes a cocktail hour with attendees and presenters, two days of presentations and hands-on sessions, a coffee social, and a group workout with an optional third Bonus Day with the GGS advisory board. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, body-positive, and inclusive.

For years, fitness conferences have primarily been hosted and attended by men, and the presentation topics and overall tone of these events have reflected that.

While we love and respect our male counterparts and the knowledge they share, this event is to intentionally create space for anyone who identifies as a woman to rise, teach, lead, learn, and connect with one another. At this event you’ll be surrounded by a group of like-minded, strong women who are there to lift each other up, and help one another become the best version of themselves. You will feel heard, loved, supported, and empowered. You will leave the weekend knowing that you have finally found your tribe.

Molly Galbraith

Hi! I’m Molly Galbraith, certified strength and conditioning specialist, former gym owner, and co-founder of Girls Gone Strong, a global movement that aims to empower women to embrace all that’s possible for their lives and for their bodies without shame or judgment. We do this through providing body-positive, evidence-based, sane, and sustainable nutrition, training, and self-care information on our website, in our programs, and at our events.


Over the last 13 years, I have experienced all ends of the fitness spectrum. I started my journey as a sedentary and overweight teenager, then transformed myself into a figure competitor and powerlifter for several years before being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, PCOS, and adrenal issues.

I am most passionate about helping women find a way of eating, training, and living that enhances their life instead of controlling it while helping them fall in love with themselves and their bodies.

At this event you’ll find the most well-respected women in the world from every facet of the health and wellness industry from PhDs to Registered Dietitians to top CrossFit athletes, and pre and postnatal fitness and body autonomy experts.

We have brought them together to create a united voice and an amazing environment to educate, learn and be inspired. I couldn’t be more thrilled to invite you to join us at the Women’s Strength and Empowerment Weekend, powered by Girls Gone Strong.

Erin Brown

Hi! I’m Erin Brown, writer, speaker, feminist, activist, and Girls Gone Strong advisory board member. My work focuses primarily on women and autonomy, which includes sharing my personal narrative, being delightfully aggressive, and helping women own the power of their voice.

My primary goal is to sort through my own baggage so I can be an example to my daughter—and other women—of a woman defining herself and living a passionate, empowered life.

To do this, I’ve had to conquer my own self-imposed limitations and the negative relationship I’ve had with my body, so I could stop “feeling like an apology” and find peace in my skin.

I stopped trying to “fix” myself by losing weight, and instead, I adopted practices that helped me recognize that I am enough, exactly as I am right now, regardless of how I look or how much I weigh.

Now I feel free to live by my own compass and explore what is right for my body, for my voice, for my life, and for myself alone. This has led me many places, including the weight room, in pursuit of embodiment, strength, and power, but never my worth.

That’s why I’m so excited about the Women’s Strength and Empowerment Weekend because this is exactly the type of information we will be sharing with you. I hope to see you there!
