After having my first child, I felt totally out of my depths postpartum. As someone who was previously active and took care of my health, I was completely overwhelmed at the thought of returning to my prior exercise and wellness activities. My body, my mind and my priorities felt so different, I didn't know where to begin! I completed this certification while pregnant with my second child, and it allowed me to prepare myself physically and mentally for the transition ahead - now, I'm feeling prepared and excited to begin to resume activitiy postpartum confidently and safely!

The program is very informative I learned a lot. I can actually envision how I plan to incorporate it into my new business. I just wish the program included more information on constructing meal plans for various clients. Maybe in future updates include a couple of sections addressing how to assist pregnant teens. I’m sure some of the things I recently learned can be safely applied when also. working with ages 13-19 years old. Overall I do recommend others who have a shared passion of effectively happening women navigate through their pregnancy journey and recovery.

I am really glad I decided to take the course. Throughout my years of working as a personal trainer I have met and trained quite a few women that found out they were pregnant while I was training them or I started training them when they were postnatal and still struggling with some of the symptoms. This certification has given me the confidence to train them how they should be trained during the stage they are in and it has given me the tools to pass on researched knowledge and help. I enjoyed the course and the material. It is self paced, but I found it easy to get through it and to hold myself accountable.
